Maurice Halsted has been named the 2010 Midwest Coke Zero summer DJ and  has been the head dj for over 5 years on 103.5 KISS FM in Chicago, over 2 years on 94.5 The Vibe Vegas (2006-2008) and 1 year on Hot 96 FM Evansville, IN.  Maurice Halsted and the Beat Freaks have continuously been able to hold the #1 mixshow in the Midwest for over 4 years.  He was the official “College Tour” DJ of 2009 sponsored by Comcast and 103.5 KISS FM. He is also the official DJ for the 2010 “College Tour” sponsored by Comcast, Black Berry Messenger, Amp Energy Juice and 103.5 KISS FM. In 2011, he was sponsored by Mountain Dew for the “Its Different On The Mountain” campaign and the 2011 “College Tour” sponsored by Mountain Dew and 103.5 KISS FM.

Maurice Halsted has completed over 600 mixes in the last 5 years and has remixed multiple tracks by local, new and platinum artists such as Flo Rida, Chris Brown, NeYo, Katy Perry and  Kesha  to name a few.
